Q. What is an Effectiveness Profile?

A. An Effectiveness Profile is a comprehensive 10-page write-up pointing out areas a person will tend to be most effective (do fairly well) and less effective (not do as well). Information is put into a Green, Yellow, Red framework. This helps a person readily grasp and use-apply the information as they assess their present situation or sort through decision alternatives.

Q. What kind of information is included in the Effectiveness Profile?

A. The information pinpoints:

1. Green Action Skills and Red Action Skill
2. The kind of Green results a person will tend to be most effective accomplishing
3. Specific areas and fields that will tend to match a person's Greens
4. A key source of personal job satisfaction
5. How a person will tend to relate best to people

A. After a person receives their Effectiveness Profile, they are encouraged to refer to four pages of information that follow the 10-page write-up. For example, one page helps a person assess their present situation by providing a format to match up their present or anticipated responsibilities with their Greens, Yellows, and Reds. Another page provides a practical tool to formulate a specific life purpose.

The purpose of these four pages is to facilitate use and application of the information in the Effectiveness Profile. HCI is available to help in this Follow-up process.

Q. What is the purpose of an Effectiveness Profile?

A. It's purpose is to help people

(one) form realistic expectations about how well they will tend to do something, and
(two) facilitate realization of their life Purpose, priorities, and desires-goals so the way they spend their time will be directed to needs-issues-problems that concern them.

Q. What happens after deciding to go ahead with an Effectiveness Profile?

A. First, the person requesting or requiring an Effectiveness Profile completes a Positive Experiences Listing. They are also asked to begin listing such items as their interests and concerns, desires and aspirations, and knowledge strengths.

B. Second, a Discovery Conversation is scheduled to get more information about their Positive Experiences and other items (above paragraph). This can be done one-on-one or by telephone.
